The marketing director for Dobie Center wanted a fun promotion for their resident facilities during freshman orientation. Taller than the University of Texas Tower, the Dobie Center was promoted as "The Center of the Universe!"

In addition to this foam beverage holder, a full color calendar / poster was also part of the promotion.
